We were in CentreParcs Sherwood Forrest for three nights, the weekend before Easter.

Robin Hood Adventure Golf

This was Alex's favourite sport, so we had to do it twice. There are 18 holes in two sets of nine. There didn't seem to be a lot of scope for skill, just whack it and hope.

	This was one of the more diabolical holes. You had to get the ball between the posts of the gate and then the hole was half way up a hill.
	You can see the climbing centre in the background. We didn't try this.
	This is a model of Robin Hood and Little John fighting over the stream. It was very hard to get a good angle to see it properly, I had to fight my way into the woods.

Badminton

We played badminton a couple of times. The courts are quite strange as they have a sort of green felt carpet rather than the usual boards.

Clay Pigeon Shooting

This was quite interesting. I didn't take many photos though as I was taking part. Of those I took the best one accidentally got deleted. Not as bad as archery, though, where I deleted them all.

	You can just see the pigeon in the sky, I think we winged this one.
	This is one of the towers the pigeons shoot out of.

Forest Cycle Ride

This was a guided cycle ride around some of the Sherwood Pines Park. We were lucky with the weather here, as most of the weekend it was raining.

	The picture on the left is a freshly planted memorial wood for children who've died of a premature aging disease.
